That’s a right phrase: “Strive for Consistency”.
Not just “Be Consistent”, but “Strive for it”.

Because Content is over Consistency.

For example, if you have a number of web pages on web site and one of them is inConsistent with others, but does it’s job just right, then it’s better to leave it inConsistent, rather than make it Consistent, but making it’s job worse.

Strive for Consistency.
But it’s not a dead end, if it’s now inConsistent.
